Guided Soundfield™ system, 2-driver, 2-way in-ceiling, drivers mounted at 30° relative to mounting surface, IRP™ chassis / mounting bracket
Behind The Scenes Why settle for look-alike in-wall/in-ceiling speakers—those that at first glance look similar, but in the end can’t perform, when you can get the superior sound of CS Series speakers. Extended high-frequency performance, a detailed and authentic midrange and full-bandwidth bass bring the high-performance sound of CS Series speakers to any room in your home. Also ideal for use in offices, restaurants, etc. Full-Perimeter Bracket Design. Unlike typical mounting ears, brackets cover the full diameter or height and width of the speaker chassis to effectively sandwich and strengthen the area around the mounting hole. Advanced High-Power S-PAL™ Satin-Anodized Pure-Aluminum Domes. Ferro-fluid damped and cooled. The low-mass tweeter domes with treated textile suspensions are exceptionally rigid. Extremely uniform and instantaneous power response. Advanced High-Power Mineral-Filled Co-Polymer Polypropylene Cones. Large, computer-optimized magnets and high-power motor structures promote natural and detailed sonic reproduction with outstanding extended bass response. High-Pressure Die-Cast Aluminum Chassis and Mounting Brackets (selected models). The supremely rigid die-cast structure reduces resonances and standing waves, while the aluminum does double-duty as a heatsink. High-Strength GRIP™ Glass-Reinforced Injection-Molded Polymer Chassis and Mounting Brackets (selected models). Design strength/rigidity reduces the problems of vibrations and resonances. A word about Paradigm Fireproof Backboxes Paradigm in-ceiling applications can now be spec’d for MDU applications. * DIN 45 500. Indicates -3 dB in a typical listening room. † With typical program source, provided the amplifier clips ** Depth required is the distance between 1/2˝ drywall, or similar material. Overview

Paradigm backboxes meet the following:
• ‘One-Hour Fire-Rating’ requirements
• ‘For Use in Air Handling Spaces’ requirements
Paradigm backboxes will contain fire, gas, smoke and heat within the enclosure for up to one hour. Paradigm backboxes also meet the following codes:
